The Rock Falls Mill pictured in about 1968.  It burned to the ground in 1969
This photo shows riding the ferry to cross  the Chippewa at Caryville before the building of the bridge. Ferries were rather common on the Chippewa,  some of them running until the 1950’s and early ’60’s.
